Getting There
By Air

O.R. Tambo International Airport, formerly called Johannesburg International is the main international airport. Located 21 km from the city center, it is the busiest airport in Africa and the connecting hub for flights to other cities in Southern Africa. There are many flights to Johannesburg from international hubs, notably London, Paris and Frankfurt. Most flights from Europe are overnight and arrive in the early morning.

By Rail

Park Station is Johannesburg's central station and is in the city center between Rissik, Wolmarans, Wanderers and De Villiers streets, it occupies several blocks.

By Road

Long-distance buses arrive at Park Station. All major bus companies provide a service to and from Johannesburg.

Day 1
Johannesburg - Mpumalanga Provice

On arrival at Johannesburg you will be greeted by our Representative and then head east to the spectacular, flourishing scenery of Mpumalanga. Pass through the village of Dullstroom. Lunch in the historic mining village of Pilgrim’s Rest. Continue to the northern Drakensberg and onto the Panorama Route. Stop to admire the views at God’s Window, Pinnacle Rock and the impressive Mac Mac Falls. Arrive at your hotel late afternoon. Overnight stay at Mpumalanga Province.

Mpumalanga Provice

Morning after a leisurely breakfast, we make our way to Elephant Whispers, an elephant interaction venue that offers one a once in a lifetime opportunity to touch and connect with these intelligent creatures. Continue to the Kruger Cultural Village, a true feast for the senses. Delight in a lunch of authentic African cuisine. Enter the world famous Kruger National Park, unrivalled in its diversity of flora, fauna and bird life. Enjoy a guided afternoon closed vehicle game drive, pursuing the Big Five and other rare and endangered species. Return to the lodge for dinner under the stars in the “boma”. Overnight stay at Mpumalanga Province.

Mpumalanga Provice

Morning after breakfast, we will journey through the magnificent expanses of the Kruger National Park. Lunch at the lodge at Mthethomusha Game Reserve. High tea at lodge before open vehicle game drive traversing through the reserve and viewing an exhibition of more than 200 San rock paintings. Relish a dinner of Pan-African cuisine.

Mpumalanga Provice - Johannesburg

Early morning breakfast, followed by an open vehicle game drive. Enjoy the lovely views of the de Kaap Valley Mountains while tucking into lunch. A scenic drive through Mpumalanga sees us back in Johannesburg, arriving late afternoon ehere the tour ends.
