By Road

There are regular bus services from Siliguri (which is approximately 70 kilometres away) from Darjeeling.

On arrival at IXB Airport/ NJP railway station you will be greeted by our local Representative who will transfer you to Darjeeling. Check in at Hotel. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight stay will be at Darjeeling.

Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Early morning at 0400 hrs visit the 3 points – Tiger Hill Sunrise Point, Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast go for local tour in Darjeeling of 7 points covering Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tea garden (Outer View), Tenzing rock, Tibetan Refugee center (Closed on Sunday), Peace Pagoda and Japanese Temple. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Excursion to Mirik Lake and Pashupatinath Market (Indo-Nepal Border)

Morning after breakfast proceed for a day excursion trip to Mirik from Darjeeling, this place is surrounded by lush green environment and in the centre is a beautiful lake with boating place. Later proceed to Pashupatinath Market (Indo-Nepal Border), (Extra vehicle charges will be applicable on direct payment basis for Nepal Border to Pashupati Market), after that return to Darjeeling. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Cancellation Policy
  • Advance money (25% of the package cost) is non refundable.
  • 30% of the total package cost will be charged if cancellation is done between 15 to 7 days before arrival
  • 50% of the total package cost will be charged if cancellation is done between 7 to 1 days before arrival
  • No refund will be entertained in case of tour cancelled after it starts.
  • No refund will be entertained if the tour is cancelled due to bad weather, civil / political disturbance, or anything beyond human control. But there will be full co-operation from the entire team to make an alternate arrangement in such cases.

Extra Terms & Conditions Related to Hotel:

  • Room Heater available with an extra cost bourne by the guest directly
  • Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced if asked by hotel.
  • A valid photo ID proof for all guests staying at the hotel is mandatory.
  • For Extra Person Sharing the Room & Child with Extra Bed, almost all the hotel of our area provides MATTRESS and ROLL OVERS as a supplement to Extra Bed.
  • In this sector almost all the hotels do not have a lift facility and in all the hotels the guest will have to climb stairs. In case if any guest is having problem of blood pressure, knee or other ailment for which they cannot climb the higher floors they will have to intimate us during the time of booking so that we can arrange rooms at the lowest floor of the hotel enabling the guest to climb the minimum number of stairs possible.
  • In a hilly area scarcity of water & electricity is a natural phenomenon. Everybody buys water for their day-to-day needs & have learnt to live even without electricity. In case of Load Shading, kindly bear with such situation. To overcome the water crisis certain hotels have fixed schedule for supplying hot & cold water. We strongly regret the inconvenience.
  • The tourism infrastructure in Sikkim & Darjeeling is not very advanced & one should not expect and match it with the plains & other developed destinations

  • Up to 03 passengers are permitted in 01 Indica / WagonR including.

  • Up to 06 passengers are permitted in 01 Innova / Scorpio / Xylo including child.
  • If in case the number of heads increases, then the guest will need to opt for an additional vehicle.
  • By paying supplements up gradation to higher category of hotels is possible.
  • Guests opting for Innova / Xylo / Scorpio are requested to travel with light and minimum of one piece baggage per person. In case of excess baggage the guest will have to opt for an extra vehicle for carrying excess baggage for which the cost will be borne by guest directly.

Darjeeling- Is another important hub for shopaholics. The well-known shopping places in Darjeeling are at Chowrasta. The shops here sell ethnic knick-knacks. The Hayden Hall is another place where you can look for the exclusive Tibetan carpets. Shop at Manjusha Emporium which has a good collection of Himalayan handicraft, silk and handloom products. The woolen garments can be bought from the markets on Hill Cart road. The Darjeeling tea with its exotic taste and aroma is without a doubt a must bring back home.

Money- The currency of India is Indian Rupees (INR). The currency exchange departments are present in almost every Indian city. You can also exchange your currency in 5 star and 4 star hotels, no other currency is valid except for Indian currency (INR).

Best time to Visit - March to Mid June & October to December is the best time to visit Darjeeling

Travel Kit- Except for special occasions, dress is informal. Carry a warm sweater or jacket for mornings and evenings throughout winter and early springs. An umbrella offers the best protection from monsoon rains. In the winter an anorak is often quite useful to wear over a fleece or woolen layer.

Drugs- Heavy penalties including imprisonment for possession of narcotic drugs.

Smoking- Smoking is banned in public places.

Darjeeling Festivals - The major religious festivals of Darjeeling are Dashain (Durga Puja), Tihar (Diwali) & Christmas. The diverse ethnic populace of the town celebrates several local festivals. The Lepchas and Bhutias celebrate New Year in January, while Tibetans celebrate their New Year, Losar, in February–March. The birthday of the Buddha is celebrated in mid-June with processions. Darjeeling Carnival, initiated by a civil society movement known as The Darjeeling Initiative, is a ten-day carnival held every year during the winter with portrayal of the Darjeeling Hill's musical and cultural heritage as its central theme.
