Mumbai – Srinagar by Air (Arrival)

On arrival at Srinagar Airport you will be greeted by our Local Representative who will transfer you to your Deluxe Houseboat for check-in. Later proceed to visit the Mughal Gardens i.e. "Nishat" (The Garden of Pleasure), "Shalimar" (Abode of All) & "Cheshmashai" (Royal spring). Also visit Shankracharaya Temple. Drive along the Lakeside on the boulevard. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 2
Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar (80 kms / 02 hrs approx one way)

This morning post breakfast proceed for a full day trip to Sonamarg (subject to weather condition) at 2740 Mts. It is the last major town before Ladakh and an excellent base for trekking. Also known as "Meadow of Gold" a name derived from the spring flowers or from strategic trading position it enjoys. Sonamarg has a wild mountain beauty. Return back to Srinagar & Stay overnight in Srinagar.

Day 3
Srinagar – Pahalgam (95 kms / 03 hrs approx one way)

Post breakfast check-out from the Houseboat in Srinagar and proceed to Pahalgam "Valley of Shepherds". Enroute visit the famous Avantipura Ruins. Pahalgam is situated in the picturesque Lidder Valley and lies 7,200 ft. (2,134 m.) above sea level. It is famous for its beautiful scenery, flora and fauna, springs, streams and is the base camp for Amarnath pilgrimage. It is also the base for treks to the higher mountains. On arrival in Pahalgam, check-in at the Hotel. In Pahalgam, enjoy the nature and walk around the banks of River Lidder. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Pahalgam Sightseeing

This morning after early breakfast visit Aru Village, Chandanwari & Betab Valley by a separate vehicle. Later in the afternoon take leisure walks at Shikargarh (golf course) near river bank, Amusement Park & open meadows in the wooded surrounding of fur & pine trees. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Pahalgam – Gulmarg (150 kms / 05-06 hrs approx one way)

Today post breakfast check-out from the hotel and proceed for Gulmarg "Meadow of Flowers". The charming hill resort is at an altitude of 2730 Mts. Gulmarg offers a magnificent view of Nanga Parbat, one of the highest mountains in the world and is an excellent winter sports center. It also is the highest green golf course in the world. Overnight stay at hotel in Gulmarg.

Gulmarg

After breakfast, enjoy the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car ride (Gondola), pony ride, sledge ride & skiing (all on direct payment basis). For a fun-filled ride of a most unusual kind, Gulmarg's Gondola Cable Car ride from high above Gulmarg, through pine-clad slopes is exhilarating. From Gulmarg a pony track leads upwards to Khilanmarg, Kangdori & seven springs, a couple of hours by pony longer on foot. Overnight stay at hotel in Gulmarg.

Gulmarg - Srinagar (56 kms / 02 hrs approx one way)

After breakfast check-out from the hotel in Gulmarg and proceed to Srinagar. On arrival check-in at the Hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Dal Lake by a gondola boat called "Shikara". Witness the ride on the lake and experience the aquatic life of Srinagar. Visit the local crafts market and see the fine carved hand-made articles from Paper Machie and wood of a walnut. Srinagar City - Srinagar is the summer capital of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is situated in the Kashmir Valley and lies on the banks of the Jhelum River. The city is famous for its Mughal gardens, lakes and houseboats. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dry fruits.

Sonamarg - Also known as 'Meadow of Gold' is a beautiful flower-laden meadow in the majestic Himalayan mountain region. A town surrounded by breathtaking glaciers and serene lakes, located at a hefty altitude of 2,740 m above sea level. Sonamarg is the base camp for various trekking routes that lead to the Himalayan lakes of Vishansar, Krishansar, Gangabal and Gadsar Lake, stocked with Snow trout and Brown trout and Satsar, glacier-fed and surrounded by banks of alpine flowers. This is also an alternate route to Amarnath Yatra. Major attraction during the summer months is the Thajiwas Glacier.

Pahalgam - Pahalgam is a town located on the banks of river Lidder at an altitude of 7200 ft. from sea level. It is a famous hill station and popular tourist destination. The area holds a rich cover of vegetation and the dominant forest consisting of conifers. A number of treks in this region begin from Pahalgam, like the Kolahoi Glacier, situated up the Lidder Valley. The other important places are Betaab Valley and Aru valley noted for their scenic meadows, lakes and mountains. Pahalgam is also associated with the annual Amarnath Yatra. Chandanwari (2,895 m), is the starting point of the yatra.

Gulmarg - Gulmarg is a Hill station and a very popular Skiing destination. It is easily accessible from Srinagar by a 02 hours drive by car or bus. It is also very famous because of its "Gulmarg Gondola," one of the highest cable cars in the world, reaching 3,979 meters. Besides that, Gulmarg has the highest green golf course in the world and outdoor sports.

Kashmir is famous all over the world for its woolens and wooden handicrafts. Saffron, Shatoosh and Pashmina shawls, hand woven carpets, paper mache articles, walnut wood work, Kashmiri cewelwork, honey, pherans, brass, copper and silverware, almonds, saffron and fruits form the most important buys in Jammu and Kashmir. Srinagar guarantees the best shopping experience. The varieties it offers can be very overwhelming. Tourists are advised to look for painter paper mache boxes, Christmas tree, decorations, carved walnut wood souvenirs, cashmere and pashmina shawls.
