Srisailam - The shrine of Lord Mallikarjuna picturesquely situated on a flat top of Nallamalai Hills, Srisailam is reputed to be one of the most ancient kshetras in India. It has been a popular centre of Saivite pilgrimage for centuries.

Hyderabad- Hyderabad's treasures are many, but pearls and 'bidri' work is what comes to mind where shopping in Hyderabad is concerned. Hyderabad is often referred to as the 'City of Pearls' and there are many shops here that sell pearls in all hues, colours, and sizes. Bidri work which is silver inlaid on black metal is also synonymous with shopping in Hyderabad. Visit the government handicrafts Emporium Lepakshi to pick up some of this fine craft. The Laad Bazaar, Sultan Bazaar and Abids Circle are the main shopping areas in the city.

Money- The currency of India is Indian Rupees (INR). The currency exchange departments are present in almost every Indian city. You can also exchange your currency in 5 star and 4 star hotels, no other currency is valid except for Indian currency (INR).** **

Language- The language of Andhra Pradesh is Telugu and most people speak in Telgu. The people of Hyderabad also speak Urdu. Those in the border towns speak a good amount of Tamil near the south, and Kannada in the west. English is spoken by most in the cities and towns.
