Kathmandu Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, commence the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city, Swayambhunath and Bouddhanath. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Chitwan

After breakfast, drive to Chitwan (182km / 5-6 hours). Chitwan National Park is a large & beautiful nature reserve occupying 932 sq. km. of land inhabitant of endangered royal Bengal tiger & the one-horned Indian rhino. Elephant Safari & Observation Tower. Evening after dinner, watch the Tharu Stick Dance. Overnight stay at Chitwan

Day 4
Jungle Activities at Chitwan

After morning's Tea / Coffee, experienced guides will take you to select spots ideal for birding, where you can observe a breathtaking diversity of these beautiful feathered creatures. After having Breakfast, start the Dugout Canoe Ride to discover the habitat of crocodiles on the bank of the river. Later Elephant Breeding Center, local school visit at Chitwan & Tharu Village. Drive back to lodge. Overnight stay at Chitwan.

Chitwan - Pokhara

After breakfast, drive to Pokhara. Check-in at the hotel. Evening time is for boating in the ultimate lake where the reflections of Mount Annapurna and Machhapuchhare range falls. An island temple is located at the middle of the lake. Overnight stay at Pokhara.

City Tour of Pokhara

After Breakfast, start the sightseeing tour of Pokhara city by visiting Bindabasini Mandir is of great religious importance to Hindus living in the Pokhara region, Seti River means White Water River, Devi's Waterfall known as Hell's Fall & Gupteshwor Mahadev cave is probably the longest and attractive cave in south Asia. Overnight stay at Pokhara.

Pokhara : The enchanting city with a population of around 95,000 has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panaromic views of Himalayan peaks. Pokhara is the most popular destination for visitors to Nepal. The city is also known as the center of adventure. Pokhara is also the base for some of most famous trekking circuits of Nepal. By itself surrounding area provides ample scope for short walk and day trips, suitable for children or weary trekkers, which can be made around the valley.

Chitwan National Park : It is a large and beautiful nature reserve occupying 932 sq. km. of land inhabitant of endangered royal Bengal tiger and the one-horned Indian rhino. There are more than 50 species of mammals in Chitwan including monkeys, tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild boar, hyenas, deer, elephants and rhinos. There are also 450 different species of birds and 67 species of butterflies.The main attraction of Chitwan is the Elephant Safari.

Shopping And Entertainment

There are numerous tourist shops on the main streets and in the hotel arcades brimming with tempting jewelry, statues, and other typical Nepalese handicraft. Each place has its specialty product which is unique. Bhaktapur, for instance, is the place to buy pottery. The Traditional Craftsman's Colony in Patan is a famous center for Nepalese handicraft. Best time to visit - From late September to early December when the air is fresh and sky is clear giving the best views of the mountains. Next season starts from end of February to mid April it is warm and dry. This season brings a second wave of visitors.

Festivals in Nepal - The Nepali year begins in mid-April and is divided into 12 months. Saturday is the official weekly holiday. Main annual holidays include the National Day, celebrated on the birthday of the king (28 December), Prithvi Jayanti (11 January), Martyr's Day (18 February), and a mix of Hindu and Buddhist festivals such as dashain in autumn, and tihar in late autumn. During Swanti, the Newars perform the Mha Puja ceremony to celebrate New Year's Day of the lunar calendar Nepal Sambat. Most of the festivals in Nepal are Hindu.
