By Air

The three major bus stands in Delhi are Inter State Bus Terminus (ISBT) at Kashmiri Gate, Sarai Kale-Khan Bus Terminus and Anand Vihar Bus Terminus. Delhi-Nainital (Approx 310Kms/08Hrs)

On arrival at Delhi Airport / Railway Station, you will be greeted by our local representative who will transfer you to Nainital – the beautiful lake district of Kumaon. Check-in to the hotel and freshen up. The Kumaon hills are known for their idyllic beauty – mountains silhouetted against the sky, streams rippling through the silence of forests, and placid lakes reflecting the changing panorama of nature. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on the famous lake and visit the local market for some shopping. Overnight stay at Nainital.

Nainital (Local Sightseeing)

After breakfast, full day is at leisure to explore the hill retreat of Nainital. Visit Mall road, Boating Club, Cable Car Ride, Thandi Sadak, and Lakes (Sat tal, Naukuchiatal etc). It is blessed with scenic natural splendour and varied natural resources. Dotted with lakes, Nainital has earned the epithet of 'Lake District' of India. Later back to hotel, rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at Nainital.

Nainital–Mukteshwar(Approx 51Kms/02Hrs)

Morning post breakfast drive to Mukteshwar, this beautiful place is 2286 mts in altitude. Surrounded by fruit orchards and thick coniferous forest it was developed by the Britishers as research and education institute (IVRI) in 1893. It is the celebrated scenic spot overlooking long ranges of Himalaya. Also visit Chauli ki Jaali, a wind swept hole in the rock face, Shiva Temple, PWD lawns which offer a breathtaking view of the higher himalayan range and peaks such as Trishul, Nanda Devi and Panchachuli. Return back to Nainital. Overnight stay at Nainital.

Day 4
Nainital-Haridwar (Approx 290Kms/08Hrs)

Post breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Haridwar, lying at the feet of Shiva's hills, i.e., Shivaliks, in the Haridwar district of Uttaranchal Pradesh, is a doorway. Suryavanshi prince Bhagirath performed penance here to salvage the souls of his ancestors who had perished due to the curse of sage Kapila. The penance was answered and the river Ganga trickled forth forms Lord Shiva's locks and its bountiful water revived the sixty thousand sons of king Sagara. In the traditional of Bhagirath, devout Hindus stand in the sacred waters here, praying for salvation of their departed elder. It is doorway to the sources of the Ganga and the Yamuna, 3000 to 4500 meters up into the snowy ranges of the central Himalayas.On arrival at Haridwar, check-in to the hotel. Later you can visit various temples across the town. Then proceed to Har ki Pauri, on the ghats of the cool waters of the River Ganga. Later witness the evening Aarti of the Holy River Ganga. This aarti is a beautiful ceremony in which deeyas (the oil lamps) are offered to God. Overnight stay at Haridwar.

Day 5
Haridwar-Musoorie (Approx 90Kms/3Hrs)

Morning after breakfast, Proceed to Mussoorie. Located at an altitude of 2000m. above the sea level. Mussoorie is sprawled over a horseshoe shaped ridge.  It offers some breath – taking views of the snow- clad Himalayan peak of western Garhwal, as of the Dehradun valley. Check-in to the hotel. Later in the afternoon, leave for half day sightseeing including Gun Hill, the second highest peak in Mussoorie. Kempty Falls, 15 km away on the yamunotri road. Camel’s back Road, The Jheel, Lal Tibba, Lake Mist Resort. Overnight stay at Mussoorie.

Mussoorie (Local Sightseeing)

After breakfast, you can opt for an excursion to Dhanaulti which is 33 kms away and to the ancient mountain top shrine of Surkhanda Devi, climbing upto 9700 feet / 2940 meters. Deodar and Pine Trees, beautiful valleys, snow capped mountains, all leave you mesmerized and wanting more. Overnight stay at Mussoorie.

Haridwar - Shopping in Haridwar includes buying religious implements, brassware, cane and bamboo products, semi-precious stones, vermilion powder, herbal medicines, spices and pickles. The Bara Bazaar, Moti Bazaar and Jwalapur areas of Haridwar are the main shopping places. The sacred rudraksha garland, made from strings of the rudraksha seed and used by religious men, is also sold here.

Mussoorie - The main shopping areas in Mussoorie are the Library, Kulri Bazaar and Landour Bazaar that sell curios, ethnic jewellery, as well as antiques. Beyond Kulri Bazaar a road goes 5 kms up to the old cantonment area of Landour. Shops in the market sell Raj memorabilia, silver jewellery and books. You can pick up beautifully handcrafted walking sticks among other things from shops on the Mall. Just below the mall Road is a Tibetan market where one can buy sleeping bags, windcheaters, sweaters and shawls at very reasonable prices.
