All Tree houses have modern attached bathrooms with 24hrs h/c water, living area, mini bar, split AC's with 100% power back up, mosquito netting, writing table and chair, and loungers in the balconies. The hideaways - Mahua, Tendu, Peepal, Banyan and Palash are named after the trees on which they are established.

Introduction:

The wildlife of the Bandhvagarh National Park is truly the most glittering parts of the Aravali regions. The Park is simply known for the various species of wild creatures and is best known for the preservation of the most astonishing tiger species. The presence of the abundance of tiger in Bandhavagarh has drawn many animal lovers in this explicit arena to appreciate the wilderness hidden behind every rugged way of Bandhvagarh with the amazing wildlife tour in Bandhavagarh Reserve.
Bandhavgarh National Park, the most popular national parks in India is located in the Vindhya Hills of the Umaria district in Madhya Pradesh. The area of Bandhavgarh is being flourished with a large biodiversity, the place which is also being famed to grip highest density of tiger population in India. Similarly, the park also beholds the largest breeding population of leopards and various species of deer. Over the years, the park has shown a great number of increases in the count of the tiger species and this is the reason why tiger tours is so famed to attract large amount of tourists at its vicinity.
The park has been divided into three major zones named as Tala, Magdi and Bamera out of which the Tala zone attracts major number of tourists by offering the tiger sighting opportunities. The park authorities are also focusing on the Magdi Zone by providing more opportunity to spot tigers. Elephant shows are also organized in Magdi zone of the Bandhavgarh national park to increase the chances of spotting the elusive king of the jungle.
Bandhavgarh National Park consists of mixed vegetations ranging from tall grasslands to thick Sal forest and so is the perfect habitat of variety of animals and birds. Due to varied topography, the Bandhavgarh national park provides ample opportunity to spot the majestic Indian tiger and some rarely seen animals like leopard and sloth bear.

Places of tourist Interest:

Bandhavgarh Fort - Bandhavgarh Fort is an ancient fort in Bandhavgarh. The legends claim that the fort was built by Lord Rama during his short stay in Bandhavgarh while returning from Lanka after defeating Ravana. It is believed that Lord Rama asked his brother Lakshman to take control of the fort and watch the movements in Lanka. The city got the name from this story. There is a temple, dating back to the fort's existence, dedicated to Lakshmana (Bandhavdish).

Bandhavgarh Hill - The hill is formed by the sandstones and the water permeates from these hills are the sources of many streams and springs in the region. The hill is the specimen of picturesque natural beauty and the cool climate over the hilly terrains make it a hill station for the enthusiast tourists. The top of the hill is flat and some portions are marshy land as well. The green vegetation is dense in the downhill and as it goes up from the downhill, the flora reduces. The hilly regions are natural habitat of many plants and animals. Few exceptional plant species are found in these regions. From the hilltop, one can view the panoramic views of the picturesque down valleys and plains.

Elephant Safari - Elephant Safari is the most attractive part of an adventurous tour to Bandhavgarh wildlife sanctuary. An exclusive and most exciting elephant safari can bring out all natural beauties of the nature's most precious gifts from a close look for the enthusiastic tourists. One can view the entire area of the park over a tamed elephant. Elephant safaris are arranged by the tourist department and early morning elephant safari is worthy to spot tigers.

Additional Remarks

February-June (Closed 1 July-15 October) is the best time to visit this National Park.
