Hotel Description

The Pashan Garh Lodge features a cluster of stone cottages huddled atop a small hill, offering magnificent views across the top of the forest and a large nearby watering hole, which has been host to resident antelope sightings. The lodge is a mere 50 kilometres from Khajuraho, one of the best-known tourist attractions in India, renowned for its 85 sandstone temples and sculptures that date back a thousand years.The park itself is a vast plateau dominated by lush tropical forests, deep ravines, cascading waterfalls and thick teak forests.

Panna is famous for India's younger tiger reserves, established in 1994. Panna National Park was established from the hunting forests of erstwhile royal kingdoms of Bijawar, Panna and Chhatarpur. Sandstone and diamond mining have been flourishing in Panna in a big way. Panna is extraordinarily calm and beautiful. Pandav Caves and Falls - A spot of great historical importance, The Pandav Waterfalls, is also holds all the characteristics of an ideal picnic location. Pandav waterfalls provides to the viewer a breath taking scenery of a cascading cataract falls down from a height of 100 m. A wonderful place where one can rejoice in a lively atmosphere of the gushing water that offers enormous opportunities for Boating & Angling.

Raneh Falls - Raneh Falls, in a proximity to Panna is on the majestic Ken River. The cascading waterfall is scenic surrounded by wonderful rock formations. The main attraction here is the canyon (valley or gully) of Crystalline Granite of 5 km long and100 ft deep. This granite has different shades of colors, pink, red, misty white, green and gray.

Ken Gharial Sanctuary - Ken Gharial Sanctuary gets its name from the 6 m long fish-eating Gharial, the very rare species of crocodiles. This Sanctuary is natural habitat of Gharial. Ken Gharial Sanctuary, situated in Chhatarpur District of Madhya Pradesh near to Panna, lies at the convergence of Khudar and Ken rivers. Apart from Gharial, many other species can be spotted here. Wild boar, Chinkara, blue bull, peacock and chital are some among them. This is a beautiful sanctuary to visit; specifically wild life enthusiasts will have the rare chance of getting a view of Gharial.
