Introduction:

Kanadukathan is a panchayat town in Sivaganga district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Kanadukathan is well known for its Chettinad cuisine and also for the architecture of its houses, whose main entrances are shaped to resemble those of temples. This town is also popular for temples such as Chettiar Oorni Vinayagar Temple, Maatta Oorni Vinayagar Temple,  Chettinad Siva Temple, etc.

Ayyappan Temple:
The Ayappan temple is located in Sree Ayyappan Road, Sidhapudur of Coimbatore. Records say that the Ayyappan temple was constructed during the year 1976. Also, the temple was built by a trust named Sri Dharma Sastha Baktha Jana Sabha. Actually, the Sri Dharma Sastha Baktha Jana Sabha desired to construct an Ayyappan temple in the Coimbatore city, which is quite similar to the Ayyappan temple in Sabarimala.

Eachanari Vinayagar Temple:
Eachanari Vinayagar Temple is a pilgrimage temple, situated in Coimbatore city, Tamil Nadu. This is one of the ancient temples in Coimbatore city as it was build some long year back in 1500 A.D. The main deity of this temple is lord Vinayagar and this temple will be close to the hearts of Vinayagar devotees.

Marudhamalai Hill Temple:
Marudhamalai temple has the deity of Lord Muruga and the temple features quite comfortable facilities to the visitors making their visit to worship the deity. The major feature of this hill is that, it grows essential medicinal herbs, which is used in making ayurvedic medicines.

Perur Siva Temple:
The Perur Siva Temple is purely dedicated to the lord Siva and the deity in the shrine is called as Patteeswaras and His Consort, Pachai Nayaki. The buildings in the outer edge were constructed by the sawyers of Madurai during the 17th century. The inner place of worship is quite old and the temple has prominent figures of the Indian soldiers in the entrance. The temple is also called as Mel Chidambaram.

Vellingiri Hill Temple:
The temple is purely dedicated to lord Siva and the overall altitude of the hill is 6000 feet. The Vellingiri hill temple is considered to be the most famous worship place and a massive tourists group visits the hill temple to make their prayers. Moreover the hill is familiar for its extravagant natural resources. People can find several different essential rare herbs grown on the hill, which could be used for medication. The Vellingiri hill temple has the deity of lord Shiva, and people visiting the temple can sense the pleasing atmosphere to worship.
