Getting There
By Air

Delhi is well connected with domestic and international flights, to all the major cities within and outside India. Almost all the major airlines have their flights operating from Indira Gandhi International Airport at New Delhi.

By Rail

The railway network connects Delhi to the all major and nearly, all the minor destinations in India. The three important railway stations of Delhi are New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station and Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station.

By Road

Delhi is well connected by a network of roads and national highways, with all the major cities in India. The three major bus stands in Delhi are Inter State Bus Terminus (ISBT) at Kashmiri Gate, Sarai Kale-Khan Bus Terminus and Anand Vihar Bus Terminus. Both the government and private transport providers provide frequent bus services. One can also get government as well as private taxis here.


Day 1
Arrival at Delhi to Darjeeling 8D/7N

On arrival at Bagdogra airport you will be greeted by our local representative who will transfer you to Darjeeling with drive of 2-3 hrs through from the beautiful tea estates. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 2
Darjeeling to Manibhanjan (2150m) and Trek to Jaubari (2750m) 1Hr drive (5-6Hrs trek)

The walk starts from Manibhanjan and continues past several small settlements up to the Tonglu (3020m), located in dense forest overlooking the entire Darjeeling hills. From Tonglu we continue along the rhododendron covered ridges to Jaubari, just inside the Nepal border, to gain our first uninterrupted views of the eastern Himalaya.

Day 3
Sandakphu–Phalut (6 -7Hrs)

A long but easy stretch with gradual ascents and descents. A walk of four to five hours through rhododendrons and then for a couple of hours over treeless mountain slopes to reach Phalut, the meeting place of three ridges coming from India, Nepal and Sikkim. It provides a spectacular view of Everest and Kangchenjunga.

Day 4
Phalut – Raman (5-6Hrs)

From Phalut the day starts with a steep descent through dense forest to reach Ramam river; cross it by a bridge then climb through rhododendron, oak and pine forest to Raman village.

Day 5
Ramam – Rimbik (5-6Hrs)

Its almost a 9-10km level walk till Shirokhola, cross the river by a bridge and then climb steeply for about a km. Another almost level walk of about 3km leads to Rimbik.

Day 6
Drive Rimbik – Darjeeling

Rimbik to Darjeeling is a drive of about 5 hrs. Alternatively you can walk for about 25km up to Bijanbari and then drive from there.

Darjeeling to Delhi

Drive 2-3 hrs from Darjeeling to Bagdogra, visit a tea garden enroute and fly to Delhi.

Cancellation Policy
  • If cancellation takes place more than 45 days prior to departure, your full deposit will be returned except a processing charge of Rs. 5000 or US$ 120; (60 days for Brahmaputra trip)
  • If cancellation takes place between 45 and 30 days priorto departure, 50% of the tour price will be forfeited (between 60 and 30 days for Brahmaputra trip); and
  • If cancellation takes place less than 30 days prior to departure, 100% of the tour price will be forfeited

Areas Covered

Sandakphu or Sandakfu or Sandakpur (3636 m; 11,941 ft) is the highest peak in the state of West Bengal, India. It is the highest point of the Singalila Ridge in Darjeeling district on the West Bengal-Nepal border. The peak is located at the edge of the Singalila National Park and has a small village on the summit with a few hostels. Four of the five highest peaks in the world, Everest, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse and Makalu can be seen from its summit.

Phalut or Falut is the second highest peak of West Bengal, India. Part of the Singalila Ridge in the Himalayas, it is located at the border of the Indian states of West Bengal and Sikkim and the country of Nepal.

Rimbick is a village near the India-Nepal border in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal state, India. It is 100 km away from Darjeeling town.
